Meet Lizi

Hi, I'm Lizi, founder of Fern & Oak Interiors.

I'm a residential interior designer based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a passion for creating timeless, collected homes that reflect the people who live in them. My love for design is rooted in a deep appreciation for natural materials, thoughtful details, and homes that evolve over time rather than follow passing trends.

One of the most meaningful moments in my design career came when a client became emotional during a presentation because they felt truly seen by the story behind their home's design. That experience reinforced what I believe to be at the heart of great design: beautiful homes begin by understanding the people who live there.

When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me tending to my ever-growing collection of houseplants, gardening, spending time outdoors with my husband and our three dogs, discovering new restaurants, and, more often than not, planning our next home project.
